Ingredients
15.25
ounce
red velvet cake mix
(we used Duncan Hines Signature Perfectly Moist Red Velvet Flavored Cake Mix)
1
teaspoon
baking powder
2
large eggs
¼
cup
vegetable oil
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1
cup
chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
Combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, and chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl.
Use a rubber spatula to mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. The dough may require a bit of effort to achieve a cookie dough texture.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Form tablespoon-sized dough balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the edges are set.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for an additional 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
