This  cornbread dressing recipe is a standout addition to your holiday feast and a true Southern comfort that's as rich in tradition as it is in taste. 

Ingredients

Nonstick cooking spray (or vegetable oil) Bacon grease, lard, or butter/oil Yellow onion Green bell pepper Celery Cream of mushroom soup Cream of celery soup Cracked black pepper Dried sage Poultry seasoning Cornbread Chicken broth

Preheat oven to 350°F, and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Melt bacon grease, sauté onions, bell peppers, and celery until soft.

Mix soups, pepper, sage, poultry seasoning in a bowl.

Stir in cooked vegetables and crumbled cornbread.

Gradually add chicken broth, spread in dish, bake for 50-55 mins. Cool before serving.
