Pumpkin Bread with Canned Pumpkin Puree

Inspired by Starbucks—a mashup of their iconic pumpkin chai latte drink and pumpkin bread.

– All-purpose flour – Baking soda – Ground cinnamon – Ground cardamom – Ground ginger – Ground allspice – Ground cloves – Eggs – Granulated sugar – Light or dark brown sugar – Pumpkin puree – Vegetable oil – Chai tea bag – Whole milk

Step 1

Prepare chai-infused milk by steeping a chai tea bag in hot milk for 2-3 minutes; let cool.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Whisk dry ingredients together in one bowl; in another, mix wet ingredients including the chai-infused milk.

Combine dry and wet ingredients, pour batter into the pan, and bake for 55-65 minutes. Cool before serving.
