This easy Creole Butter Injection recipe features rich, melted butter combined with the vibrant essence of Creole seasonings and spices. It’s sure to make your turkey the star of the show this Thanksgiving.

  • 1/2 pound unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 2 tablespoon granulated onion

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring often.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in 4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, granulated garlic, and granulated onion until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Set aside about ¼ cup of mixture for brushing on the turkey just before cooking.
  4. Transfer the rest to a tall, heatproof glass or container until ready to use in your injector.
  5. Using a meat injector with the single-hole needle, place the needle in the container and pull the plunger out to fill the syringe with butter.
  6. Inject the turkey at approximately 1/2-inch intervals in the breasts, thighs, and legs, paying extra attention to the breast area and rewarming the butter if needed.
